CrossPoint Church of the Nazarene is both a local community of believers in the Dane County and Madison area, as well as a particiapant in the Gospel going around the world. Our Church currently has missionaries, hospitals, Disaster Relief Teams, orphanages, and many other ministries that support such epidemics like AIDS and famine in impoverished areas. Our efforts begin at home and extend all around the world. We have many opportunities for you to be a part of such a great work. Check out some of those opportunities below.

Crisis Care Kits

CrossPoint is currently collecting Crisis Care Kits for those who have been impacted by disasters around the world, including the recent flooding throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. If you would like to help, the list of items for each kit is available below. For more information, contact Karen Mitten at 608-246-2257.

Each Crisis Care Kit is to have the following new items in a 2-gallon Ziploc bag:

• 1 medium bottle of shampoo (12 to 18 oz.)
• 2 bars of soap (bath-size or larger)
• 1 medium toothpaste (4.0 to 6.4 oz.)
• 3 toothbrushes
• 1 box of Band-Aids (30 or more)
• 1 fingernail clipper
• 1 sturdy hair comb
• 2 hand towels
• 4 pocket-size packages of facial tissue
• 1 Beanie Baby-size stuffed toy

Each kit must contain only the items and quantities requested. Any deviation from this list can cause an entire shipment to be rejected in customs.
